Before starting my commercial design career, I worked in the prepress department of a
leading packaging printer company in Nagpur, My regular job was to prepare artwork files
for printing that were sent by various design agencies and to inspect the print results,
I edited thousands of images for good print results here, This series lasted seven years,
When I first started commercial designing in Nagpur, I was familiar with image editing
techniques as well as the entire printing process,
"Product photography" was always at the heart of my design projects, Product photos have always been an
important part of
packaging and catalogues, My ambition has always been to work for this segment,
Since then, I've been designing packaging with mouthwatering food images for food manufacturers,
I've been designing pouches with perfect crop images based on seed breed for
seed and fertiliser manufacturers,
I've been designing catalogues for door manufacturing companies with clear
wood textures and correct door shades,
"The images we take will describe our product photography,"
Designing, whether for packaging or a catalogue, is a process that begins with analysis,
What exactly is the item? Who are the intended users? What is the product's actual size? What are the uses
of the product? What are the product's supporting design elements? What kinds of product photos should be
taken? What is the size of the design canvas? Which design layout will be used for the product photograph?
What colour scheme will work best? Which font should be used? What are the client's requirements?
Then, using all of the above facts and adhering to the design principle, we create a perfect functional
design in the provided canvas,
